Five persons including an Assistant Superintendent of Police, Salisu Ahmed, a Kaduna Polytechnic lecturer, Muhammad Abubakar, a 20-year-old girl who recently completed her secondary education and a woman were killed between Sunday and yesterday in Kano and Kaduna. Also killed was a State Security Service (SSS) employee. In a situation which looked like a mistaken identity, Alhaji Abubakar was shot dead while ASP Ahmed lost his life when he was shot in Kaduna metropolis by unknown gunmen.
