Premier League - Everton sign Kone from Wigan

Kone, 29, joins Everton for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of £6.5 million, and has signed a three-year contract with the Merseyside club.
Martinez signed Kone from Levante last summer and the Ivory Coast international impressed despite Wigan’s relegation, scoring 13 goals in all competitions.
He also started the FA Cup final as Wigan shocked Manchester City with a 1-0 win at Wembley.
Kone, 29, will link up with his new team-mates later in July having been given an extended break due to international duty.
Martinez is also trying to tie up the signature of Antolin Alcaraz, another of his former Latics players, who is a free agent after his contract expired.
