Britney Spears goes electro in new single

She's been building up fan excitement for weeks in the run up to the release of her eagerly-awaited new single.
And now Britney Spears has finally released her brand new track Work B*itch, but not before a low-quality version was leaked on line.

The original pop princess, who unveiled the artwork last week, has set Twitter abuzz with the electro-inspired song, which is a collaboration with will.i.am.
Most of the track features spoken phrases rather than singing, with lyrics including: ''You want a hot body, you want a Bugatti, you want a Maserati? You better work, b*tch.''

But just hours before the debut, the superstar discovered that Work B*itch had been leaked online, and she wasn't a happy bunny about it, forcing her to release the single earlier than planned.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote: ''Woke up today and saw that a low quality version of Work Bitch had leaked :(.''

And it seems that her manager was just as angry about it as she was, as he also vented on the social networking site.
Adam Leber wrote: ''Disheartening that one bad apple had to spoil our release for the entire fan community.''

But Britney's die hard fans didn't seem to mind too much as they heaped praise on their idol as the track dropped.
One wrote: ''The world has changed since @BritneySpears gave us Work B*itch.''
It's catchy, but not sure if we'd go that far.
