Man Arrested Over Murder Of Missing Teenager

A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering Shropshire teenager Georgia Williams.
The Telford man was originally arrested at a Glasgow hotel on Wednesday on suspicion of kidnapping the 17-year-old, from Wellington, who has not been seen since Sunday evening.
However, detectives from West Mercia Police and Warwickshire Police have now arrested him on suspicion of murder. The man has been brought back to Telford from Scotland.
Superintendent Nav Malik, of West Mercia Police, said: "I would like to stress that Georgia Williams has still not been found, and achieving that is still the primary focus of our investigation."
He said there had been "developments" in the investigation since Wednesday afternoon which prompted the arrest.
Georgia was last seen on Sunday at about 7.30pm by her parents. Her father is a serving detective with West Mercia Police.
She told them she was going to see friends, but was reported missing on Tuesday when it became clear nobody had seen or heard from her.
Police said the last text messages and calls from her mobile phone had been made at about 8pm on Sunday.
Georgia is described as white, 5ft 3in tall and of slim build with red hair.
She was last seen wearing a waist-length black leather jacket over a white T-shirt which has a London bus motif on it.
She was also wearing black, skinny jeans and flat, black suede slip-on shoes.
Police also want the public to contact them with details of the movements of a silver Toyota van with the registration CX06 ASV, which the suspect was driving prior to his arrest.
Chay Davis, headteacher of Ercall Wood Technology College, said: "Georgia left Ercall Wood last summer. While she was a pupil here, she applied to be Head Girl and gave an outstanding interview for the post.
"Georgia enjoyed being at school very much and earned the respect of all the staff here. She was a great help to me during her time as head girl.
"We are devastated by the nature of the current investigations and we are hoping she will be found safe and well very soon. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this very difficult time."
